Adolph Teichert immigrated to New York from Germany in 1866, and was recruited by the California Artificial Stone Paving Company in the 1870’s. His craftsmanship was renowned and some of his earliest work can still be seen in Golden Gate Park and near the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco.

The City of Sacramento is scrambling to meet a revised deadline of 2020 to leave flat water rates behind and convert completely to water meters. Teichert Construction is one of the contractors partnering with the city to complete this ambitious program, which is meant to address California’s serious drought.
